NanoTek, Inc. was founded by Dr. Jim Dong in April 1998 in Tucson, AZ. He has served as the president since. NanoTek’s R&D and business focus have been on miniature analytical instruments and environmental technologies. The smell sensor, or the fast and sensitive gas chromatography is its long term R&D objective. The proposed instrument will detect body order, hidden drugs and explosives. It will find use in trace analysis, medicine and law enforcement.

 

NanoTek’s current product is the filament chromatography column. It has a standard diameter of 1/8" and length of 6'. It is expected to be faster and more efficient, and it has a higher capacity compared to commercial capillary columns.
